Maybe some good news for the ocean.

I think it was in the book “The World Without Us” that the author gave a timeframe of about 250,000 years before a microorganism evolved to eat plastic. Maybe that was a pessimistic estimate.

That’s good news for pollution, but for industries that’s like finding out that all your high-tech materials are suddenly only as good as wood for durability. Imagine something rotting your phone…
