He obviously wasn’t much of a student at his military high school.

Or he’d remember that the whole reason we have bases in Germany and Japan and their own military is minimal… is because WE HAVE REALLY GOOD REASON FOR NOT WANTING THEM TO BE CAPABLE OF LAUNCHING INVASIONS.

Other concern…

if he brings all these American troops back home, are they going to sit on their bases and train? Or does he have plans for them? If he does, that can’t possibly be good.

Perhaps Nancy should go to the podium and say “We’re grateful to President Trump for this opportunity to pursue our party’s desire to scale back the defense budget. When we bring all those troops and materiel home, we can really begin to scale back our defense spending to only that spending that provides for our national defense rather than war of choice.”
