I don’t think they will try. This all came about because Obama had nominated a Republican “Gregg” to Commerce and the Black ( am I allowed to say that?) and Hispanic Democrats went bat shit in reference to the census. Now that he is not going to be there, I think it will all go by the way side. This is not a fight the Democrats really want.

Didn’t Gregg as a Senator vote against money increases for the Census? For some reason or another, he was outspoked about it before he ever was considered for the head of Commerce. Will have to check it out.
