yeah I was pretty insecure about the attention, so I have said not too much but what the hell…it’s a technical thing more or less, I’m not dying…I’m getting set, doing research etc, trying to set myself up for the big chop…and my ex is here to help, she’s a RN too…she will move right into the bunkhouse…there is really nothing to hide, but my tough, independent nature has taken a huge hit

I know this isn’t necessarily what you want to hear, but I think you should hear it.

My best childhood friend lost both his legs from an IED in Iraq a couple of years ago, one just above the knee, one just below.

We go jogging together three times a week. We don’t go on a smooth path somewhere, we go on an old trail through the woods. I have serious trouble keeping up with him. Prosthetics have come a long way.

I hope everything works out for the best for you Steve. I can’t imagine what you are going through, but don’t lose hope dude.
