Fla. woman shoots self while posing with gun for Snapchat

A Florida woman was taken to the hospital with injuries to her hand after deputies said she shot herself while posing with a gun and taking photos for Snapchat.

Regina Powell, 22, was in her Deltona-area garage on taking pictures for Snapchat on Sunday evening when she decided to include her uncle’s .40-caliber pistol, WKMG reports. She pulled the trigger and shot her cellphone, which was in her right hand, and suffered lacerations on her thumb and index fingers due to the phone shattering.
