So far in the 21st century, the main political fight in the US is whether or not to tax the rich a little bit in order to provide widespread health care.

This is literally people’s lives vs. marginal tax rates for plutocrats, and the plutocrats are winning at the moment.

They have 90% of the money and, right now, all the power. Exactly how are the rest of us supposed to fight that?
