Yes — there is a nib that allows the “key” to be recognized BUT the keycap doesn’t stay attached. I am able to type by manually pressing the nib.
next question - is it not staying on because the C is damaged or is the bits that hold the key cap in place damaged? If the former, replace it with a key cap that you hardly use (scroll lock is a good one these days). If the latter, alas, it’s external time.
