I am visiting friends here in Fenghuang, a nearby tourist attraction. en.wikipedia.org

They put me up in a guesthouse near their home, where the boss has returned from night of heavy drinking and is now downstairs in the lobby yelling loudly in the local language (not Mandarin). It’s 11 pm. Not sure I’ll get much sleep tonight. :-/

The town looks gorgeous, at least?
