Okay, so I decided to crunch numbers a bit (thank you Wolfram Alpha) regarding abortions.
My results so far a bit surprising:
Abortions in the US
As you see, there is a sharp drop in ‘96. The only thing I can find for that year that sticks out is the terrorist lone wolf campaign of Eric Robert Rudolph.
Compare to this:

Abortions in Denmark
Denmark and Finland must be doing something right because of the steady decline since the 1970’s.
And Finland has an abortion rate a little less than 3/4 that of the US, and that with early and mandatory (no religious opt-out) sex ed, and low costs for abortions ($95-ish).
Sweden is more disappointing tho:
