That’s probably right.

Sen. Ebke here is considerably left of her GOP colleagues in the Unicameral on many issues, so when Trump was nominated, it wasn’t hard for her to jump ship from the GOP.

There are an awful lot of Libertarian Party members who enjoy the party’s outsider status and are just fine with it.

Additionally, they say the Democratic Party is like herding cats. I watched the Libertarian party nominating convention in 2016. All I can say about that is “wow” (particularly the guy who went up on stage as a candidate party leader dancing in his underwear).
