I wouldn’t yet. This actually might (gag) humanise Ted “vinegar strokes” Cruz and backfire on Stumpy Trump as being a smear to far.

A little bit of televised seeking for forgiveness, a bit of Manly manliness (hound dog Ted) spin and a touch of Trump hate might pull him through.

Or Cruz is fucked. Who knows this cycle?

If the truth comes out in dribs and drabs, and it becomes undeniable, then Cruz’s categorical denial becomes a Big Lie, and he’s toast.

If this is the end of the story - a quick article and a couple quick denials, I could see it hurting Trump as the most likely person to have pushed the story.
