I had a dental appointment the day before the presidential election. Hygienist asks me who I think will win. I very confidently said Clinton. Oops! No idea who she was for though.

Could be worse. In 2000, my College Bowl team held practices on Monday and Wednesday. At the Monday afternoon practice, my friend bemoaned the way the election was dragging on. I told, “By the next time we meet, it will all be over.”

His first words that Wednesday were, “You lied to us!”
