Red Baron.

Though he never actually had a mustache in real life. But here I go again, talking about historical facts and not popular legends.

Most people wouldn’t buy something labeled Red Baron if they knew who Manfred von Richthofen really was. He was a crack shot (he was seriously into hunting and in learning to hunt he was taught how to shoot) who developed into an excellent pilot as well. However, he was also a ruthless man who focused on attacking enemy planes he could catch unaware and who felt little to any regret about the men he’d killed.

Ultimately, Richthofen was most influential as a leader, devising new tactics to adapt to the changing balance of the air war on the Western Front. He also played a key role in developing the concept of “flying circuses” of fighters that could be moved rapidly from one part of the front to another on railroad freight trucks derived from those used by traveling circuses.
