Too? I gotta say that, petty, vindictive and regressive as many leftists &/or Democrats are, they are all amazingly more progressive on matters of gender than most of us were, back when Kate Millett and Robin Morgan and others had to point out the obvious. Better on race, by and large (but not as much as they think); and at least they know trans people exist. The right, however, used to have some moderates, and they’ve about gone extinct.

Regressed in the sense that many conservative Republicans supported easy access to contraception in the 60’s.
