It’s true. Glenn Beck is a doom and gloomer. In the morning, I have a choice between NPR, news radio and Beck (or awful drivetime music)—and I have to say about Beck that almost a year ago he was predicting the crash of the world’s markets—and it scares me to see that he, indeed, was right. He seems a little like the wild-eyed John the Baptist—a voice crying in the wilderness.

I like Beck. Hated him at first. He is certainly sincere and tries to be accurate. He has a pretty good track record lately. I usually tune into Mark Levine instead.
