Ben Stein is basically arguing that Man can have no affect on his environment, due to his religious beliefs.

I guess man wasn’t meant to fly either.

I heard Limbaugh make the same argument about 20 years ago. Basically, man is arrogant to think he can control the world. People who suggest as much are therefore arrogant, or, have an ulterior motive to manipulate the rest of us.
