That’s one of the most stupid/dishonest attempts to draw a parallel between two drastically unlike situations that I’ve seen lately.

I had an RWNJ moran say this to me yesterday:

The equal protection clause to which you cite was ratified in 1868. Do you think the people who ratified the amendment knew they were legalizing gay marriage?
