I didn’t go to prom either. Instead of spending all the money on dresses, tux rentals, dinner, parties, etc. a group of us went to the Bahamas. Still can’t believe our parents let us go. We had a blast.

This town has three high schools, about 100 miles from a raging beach resort town. Too many years, one carload from the proms doesn’t make it back.
