Update on my family: My cousin in Tehran was beaten up a few days ago and shot with a rubber bullet yesterday. He’s okay and it’s not stopping him from protesting. Some other relatives have left Tehran for more quiet areas like Gorgan and Mashad.

Full disclosure: I did not vote for Obama. Initially I thought he was doing the right thing by largely avoiding the Iran subject, but today people are being beaten to death with axes. All that B. Hussein can do is wag an angry finger and consider retracting an invite to a BBQ? Change!

For those who insist the US should begin meddling, what do you propose? Air strikes? Arming people from the borders?
