Indeed gold should be a small part of any diversified portfolio. But the suggestion that it’s the key to our economic troubles is irresponsible, whether it comes from Beck, Paul, Alex Jones, whoever. The fears of 1920’s style German hyperinflation have been, well, hyperinflated.

actually, the fed at this point is more worried about the very low inflation, and is taking steps to produce a little more inflation

the inflation scare stories are intended to pump up the current gold bubble, nothing more
