That would be nice. Even though I predict Obama will beat any of the three Republicans, it is still favorable for Democrats to have an unelectible Republican to bolster Democratic turnout, which would be key for down-the-ticket races.

The wild card is how close Romney can get to the 1,144 threshold. California could be the spoiler because it is winner takes all, and it is 172 delegates. Quite a number of commentators have said California could put Romney over the top…
