People always talk about how we missed our chance in getting Osama bin Laden. This time we had a chance to take out another terrorist leader with the potential to cause mass casualties not only in the USA but around the world by the name of Anwar al-Awlaki. He decided to play that game and lost with his life. Anwar al-Awlaki is dead, assassinated, bombed, droned, call it what we like and the world is a better place for it.

And in short. UAVs minimize collateral damage through use of lower yield weapons and extended loiter times. They’re not perfect but they’re a lot more accurate then large fighter/attack aircraft.
