First Here in California Republican is a lot different than say Texas. I first got political in the anti busing fight. Then I saw “my” former party abandon California as far as spending money or time. Then I saw how the other side ran and runs the state.

Both lost my confidence and faith at that point.

I grew up in Orange County, I know what California Republicans are like.

You were anti-busing? The way they settled it in Fullerton was to close the school where most of the Hispanics were (it was even more segregated then than it is now) and bus them all over the rest of the district. Really hurt the neighborhood.

So are you saying that before 1990 you judged people more on what party they belonged to than you do now, because you realized that they both suck?
