The tweet is all he will do. AFAIK he has not nominated an ambassador to Venezuela, and State is a complete shambles now. Nothing will happen.

We actually haven’t had an ambassador to Venezuela since 2010. Of course, checking the list of US ambassadors, that seems to be the least of our problems… “vacant since January 20, 2017” is very busy.
