So I’m sitting under The Tree (banyan) in Lahaina, watching all the other tourists wandering around. Paradise, if it weren’t so bloody humid. And even so, there’s a nice fresh breeze from the ocean. I haven’t been posting (not that I do all that much anyway) because my connection is problematic.

Anyway, the last couple of days, I have been in a multiracial world, where people seem interested in helping one another instead of establishing their superiority. No evidence of DT or his supporters to be seen (I expect they’re here somewhere).

If the Rs want to turn us all into their image, they will have an uphill battle.

Tonight the ship heads off into the ocean toward Sydney. My cabin apparently cleans itself, food cooks itself and appears before us — the only chore left is laundry. (Sadly, DT is still president, which takes away around 25% from the pleasure of my vacation.)

So hang in there, and hold the fort until I’m back to rejoin the battle.
