E.W. Jackson Says Nancy Pelosiâs Prayers Are âA Blasphemy Against Godâ (Right Wing Watch)
Apparently prayers only count if youâre a conservative.
(with audio from Jacksonâs programme.)
On Fridayâs episode of his âThe Awakeningâ radio program, right-wing pastor E.W. Jackson railed against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and declared that her prayers are âblasphemy against God.â
Jackson was outraged by Pelosiâs proposal to establish a congressional commission that would have the power to remove a president from office under the 25th Amendment.
âCan Nancy Pelosi get any crazier?â Jackson fumed. âNancy Pelosi is wasting everybodyâs time with this nonsense.â
âOut of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speak,â Jackson added, quoting a passage from Luke 6. âA good person out of the good treasure of their heart brings forth good things, and an evil person out of the evil treasure of the heart brings forth evil things. I think we can say case closed as to what is in Nancy Pelosiâs heart.â
âShe talks about when she prays for the president,â he continued. âFolks, as far as Iâm concernedâIâm serious about thisâI wouldnât want Nancy Pelosi praying for me. I really wouldnât. I really wouldnât because I just believe thatâs a blasphemy against God. Iâm serious about that. I believe thatâs just a blasphemy against God. You better pray for yourself and ask God to forgive you. Thatâs what you better do. And ask God to cleanse you of all that mess in your head and in your heart. Thatâs what you better do. You better ask Jesus to save you.â
