Erm, suicide bombers/hijackers generally aren’t concerned for their personal safety, so I’m not sure why that’s relevant.
I didn’t say/imply that they were acting like suicide bombers.
They were acting like assholes.
Who wants to board a plane and hear loud passengers speculate on the crash worthiness of where they sit?
Look at it another way - you go into a nice restaurant, start looking at the menu, then some jerks 4 tables down start talking loudly about the relative food safety of the items on the menu. They start speculating over the fish, the pork, the beef … Would you lose you appetite? I would.
The restaurant would be in their rights to ask them to leave and ask them to to agree on a restaurant that meets their food safety standards before entering the establishment.
That is my point.
