You know Ellison is going to give a pro terrorist interview. It doesn’t bother me.

What send my blood boiling is the comments of people who think they are being fair.

Take Nicholas Kristof in the N Y Times. He frequently criticizes Israel, but I bet when he wrote the following, he thought is a legitimate and fair expression.

But Israel’s right to do something doesn’t mean it has the right to do anything. Since the shelling from Gaza started in 2001, 20 Israeli civilians have been killed by rockets or mortars, according to a tabulation by Israeli human rights groups. That doesn’t justify an all-out ground invasion that has killed more than 660 people (it’s difficult to know how many are militants and how many are civilians).

Yes. When you are being targeted for murder every day, and you were lucky that the savages did not meet their aims, it does mean you have a right to do ANYTHING to stop the trauma, the uncertainty, the fright, and the possibility that you or those you love may die at any moment.

And when you have waited for the World to do something SINCE 2001 and nothing was done, you have waited seven years and eleven months too long.

Kristof has shut down comments to his article.
