Yeah, this is going to take a while. I just hate to cut back on my own business for some crappy part time job for a low hourly wage. These things have a way of taking over and I don’t want to fold up my shop.

Unlike the tax cuts, there are no sunset provisions in Obama’s spending plans. As we’ve seen time and again, once an “entitlement” becomes law, there’s very little chance of getting rid of it.

Obama’s advisers are playing a dangerous game. There’s no way to tax the income of the “rich” enough to pay for his quixotic plans. What to do? A national sales tax? Or will he push for a constitutional amendment to federally tax real estate and/or personal property?
