That’s interesting, because when I’m writing, I do some of my best thinking on a walk.

But when you’re stuck, you need to break your left brain away from it because the critic will hold you back. You need to get the critic busy with something else, so the right brain can work the problem.

Learned a lot about the process of writing from Dorothea Brand.
