nah, in 15min the voters will be onto the next bone…I think you overestimate voter interest in anything besides hair and shoes…things tend to get a bit distorted around here

What it is is a chink in the GOP’s armor, in it’s vaunted plan to kill social spending programs in toto. The GOP lost any momentum they thought they’d built up last week when the Dems agreed to a number, but refused to allow the GOP to get their riders. Their narrative came to a crashing halt when it went from them being courageous budget cutters looking to slay the deficits to ideologues putting people’s livelihoods in danger because they wanted to argue over government pocket change.
