Sanders might have to go up against a Democratic opponent in Vermont to keep his Senate seat.

While Mr. Sanders is enjoying the attention of his hard-core supporters now, I really don’t see him taking a shot at the next Presidential election.

Although I supported Sanders initially in the primaries, I went all-in on Mrs. Clinton later in the primary campaign. (Interestingly, during that time, my wife and I went to Saskatchewan. At the time we had a Sanders sticker on our car, and many people would come up to us to comment favourably about that.)

I really hope that’s not necessary but I really think Sanders does need a gentle reminder that he’s not a Democrat and that if he wants to contribute to shaping where the party stands on issues, he needs to join or stop trying to have it both ways. I really appreciate what you did after Sanders lost. I think some of the Sanders supporters I know could ahve taken the same lesson. I recently supported two primary candidates that lost but I’m all in with their former opponents’ general election campaigns.
