What a coinky-dink. As part of my element, we worked on 400Hz converters too. 3-phase, 60Hz, 450VAC in, 3-phase, 400Hz, 450VAC out at 600A. 4 of them running in parallel, feeding the entire boat.

With that 400 cycles it makes the effective voltage greater doesn’t it? And did you ever have to work on the chiller units for the boat?
