re: #191 SanFranciscoZionist

Do you consider that an accurate assessment, aside from your current feelings about his current behavior?

I do.

To be honest, from what I see, the OWS protests look like pretty much most any grassroots protest - disorganised, nebulous, and with vague reasons and goals. There’s a little disorderly conduct, a few arrests, a little violence, and the usual fringe nuts that are attracted to any sort of public disturbance like flies to turds. There is no comparison to the Tea Party in any respect, and any comparison smacks of Magical Balance Fairy - it’s not a ‘leftist Tea Party’. The TP is a wholly manufactured creation and based entirely on fictitious premises, which has been packaged, branded, and sold to America. Calling OWS a ‘leftist Tea Party’ is sort of like calling a home cooked meal an ‘anticapitalist McHappy Meal’. It’s an equivalence or juxtaposition between apples and oranges.

I’m pretty sure KT is not a TP wingnut. That said, his coverage and investigation is far from impartial or disinterested. And the obvious hatred he has for protestors, as well as the pleasure he takes in seeing them hurt, makes me both personally uncomfortable, as well as inclined to take his investigations with more than a grain of salt.
