The article promotes joining The Advancement of Sound Science Coalition (TASSC), one of the most notorious tobacco industry front groups.

Yeah that’s one of the things I hate the most about these folks. They come up with all of these names that sound official, scientific and fair. From the title you would wonder, how could anyone argue with that? It is a lie from the very start designed to pull people in - to their own harm.

Of course, if they actually advanced sound science, they would be telling you how terrible cigarettes are for you. Of course if they had any conscience whatsoever, any honor, any morality, they would tell the truth about the science.
