All the major wireless companies sock it to customers with data plans for smartphones that tack anywhere from $15 to $30 or more for data. Because they can.

I noticed I qualified for a “free” upgrade but unless I “upgrade” to the exact same phone that I now have (I dunno, get it in silver or pink?) T-Mobile will increase my phone bill by $30. So fuck them. Or me.
