I order taco salads all the time. They vary in quality of course, depending on where they come from. I don’t think they’re authentic Mexican food, but I don’t really care. A lot of American food is of the “inspired by __” type, like pizza and chili.

That said, anybody who thinks eating a taco salad—uniquely bland, it sounds like from the review—is going to get Latinos to vote for him when he wants goon squads going door-to-door to round up and deport their family members is delusional.

As fast food goes, the Taco Bell Taco Salad is one of the most unhealthy items out there. Like eating two double-whoppers or something ungodly like that, as far as the amount of fat it contains.
