I’m about to start dinging down stupid, repulsive jokes about this vile act of misogyny.

Agreed it’s nothing to joke about but was it misogyny? Obviously he hated his wife but did he do it because he hated her as a woman or all women? Hard to tell given the religion he practiced.

Side note; does the rop hate women or are they just afraid of the power women have over them?
