The executive branch is already in charge of the census. The Commerce Department is an executive branch agency.

Hell, the (rather laughable) justification the administration is using for wanting to put Rahm Emmanuel in charge was because they were afraid that having a Republican Commerce Secretary in charge was going to politicize it.

Well the congress is in charge and in their infinite wisdom they put the census department under commerce. What a wicked web we weave when we practice to deceive…or something like that
