I’m not sure I’d call it a “gimmick”, but yes, it is advertising at it’s most powerful: inducing you to buy what otherwise you would not.

I did notice that the author (who I thought was female, not male) had some Safeway store coupons for produce, with which she bought apples and carrots.

There’s something like two months of entries and I didn’t go through all of them.

I thought I’d post it here because some lizards mention they struggle to make ends meet, and thought someone might get some inspiration from it.

As for me - I’m still on my (weight reduction) ice cream + tuna diet. Works like a charm. I do buy, though, real ice cream and not the fake stuff.

Do you use the tuna as a topping or do you mix it in with the ice cream?
