I’m going home early. This was supposed to be the night all the downtown businesses stayed open late and the shoppers would be serenaded by roaming carolers and all that, but it snowed a little, so the place is deserted. I’ll be in on time tomorrow, though, because a woman who is apparently a tougher crazier old broad than I am is bringing her bike in for me to fix. She asked whether she could get chains or studded tires for her bike. (They make ‘em, but not in the size she would need.)
