Activist: Pro-Palestinian boat en route to Gaza

An activist says a boat of pro-Palestinian advocates from eight countries is en route to Gaza in the latest attempt to break Israel’s naval blockade.

Dror Feiler, an Israeli activist on board, says the boat left Naples on Sunday and aims to reach Gaza in mid-October. He said Monday the boat is carrying items such as cement, basketballs, musical instruments and theater lighting equipment.

The Israel Air Force activity followed the firing of over 40 rockets at Israel this week

Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft targeted a terror tunnel in the northern Gaza Strip overnight. Direct hits were confirmed.

The targeting is in response to over 40 rockets that were fired at Israel this week, with seven of them fired in the past 24 hours.
