Bids are due today. I’m sure it’s going to be a shitshow of epic proportions, as companies that have zero experience in construction will seek a slice of government pork, while those that have experience decide the fallout from working on this project isn’t worth the cost (as some states/localities warn that doing work on the wall might mean they lose future business with the state/locality)

600 proposals! It’ll be interesting to watch when 500 lower bids are thrown out in order to award to a company with direct ties to the Trump admin.
