Michael Bay is supposed to be a total asshole to work with. I don’t know if it was just against women (Megan Fox specifically), or if he was a jerkwad to everyone.

I am not defending asshole behavior in any fashion, but there are a lot of creative types who are real assholes. One of my psych courses in college was on creativity and mental illness and how many people who were genius are…different. And because of whatever flavor of creativity they possess, they are allowed to get away with it.

Bay has no redeeming qualities, so him being an asshole doesn’t surprise me, though I’m surprised he can get away with it since he’s no genius. Gilliam just seems so likable. I should know better than to mistake being likable to being a good person.
