The bullet was fired. The bullet went through his window. The bullet wasn’t fired through his window. That implies, clearly, that it was aimed and intended to hit the window.

It’d be more appropriate to say that a bullet fell through his window.

Help me out, We have one damaged grill and a bullet falling through a window. Am I still supposed to be afraid?
