Iowa is great, if you like reasonably clean air, low crime rate, low cost of living, drivable rush hour traffic and stuff like that.

We’re a little over an hour away from Des Moines, and Iowa State is just half an hour away.

I met my wife in Sioux City. I handled an account for a large corp. at the time. My area was the western half of Iowa, Nebraska, N. & S. Dakota, and a sliver of Kansas. I thought Indiana was a desolate hellhole until I got to western Iowa.
