All the news outlets also reported that there was a car bomb exploded at the State Department, and that up to 12 planes were in the air, hijacked, and not responding to flight control operators.

That link has amazing historical stuff, and also hours upon hours of inaccuracy. The BBC inaccurately reported the collapse of buildings that hadn’t actually collapsed. AND THEY HAD NUMEROUS REPORTERS ON THE SCENE.

The celebrating Palestinians might very well have been real. But I’ll take the idea with a geologically huge grain of salt, because if you’ll remember, it was WEEKS before we had a halfway accurate explanation of what happened.
