It was an interesting question.

For what it’s worth, I just ran and “Archive” search on Google News, for the “One could say my life itself has been one long soundtrack” phrase, for results dated between March 27th and April 27th. No American papers used that quote (that I could find, and I examined all which were available.) Only a handful of American papers even ran a Jarre obit (per Gargle News, at least.)
