I certainly remember the Eagles from “Space: 1999”. Cool show, another one I grew with up.

But the main premise — a nuclear blast blows the Moon out of the solar system into interstellar space — was pretty weak. Even as a kid, I knew a blast of that magnitude would have vaporized the Moon.

Still, assuming it held together, would the Moon then qualify as a spacecraft?
