first, if trump is impeached for anything having to do with Russian malfeasance, rather than run-of-the-mill corruption, Pence will be impeached with him, or told quietly in a backroom somewhere to resign. Democrats in the House simply aren’t going to stand for the government to stand that is the result of Russian manipulation. The whole lot would have to go from the White House. Second, the only way this happens is if the Democrats retake the House. And the Speaker of the House, maybe Pelosi, would take over. At that point, there would be another quiet word in a backroom where Trump’s supreme court choices would be asked to either resign or would be impeached. No way in hell are democrats going to tolerate having a Russian operative choose a generational supreme court majority.
